From feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start… to feeling calmer, clearer, and more in control.

At A Tidy Mind Yorkshire, we understand that for ADHD brains, clutter isn’t just physical – it’s mental, emotional, and constant. When everything feels visible, unfinished, and competing for your attention, it can quickly become overwhelming.

Using a compassionate, non-judgemental approach, we take the time to truly understand you, your family, and how your brain works. This allows us to support you in a way that feels realistic, manageable, and tailored to your life — not a one-size-fits-all solution.

We combine ADHD coaching with hands-on decluttering and home/life organising support, so we don’t just talk about change – we help you create it.

Together, we break things down, reduce overwhelm, and build simple systems and routines that are easy to maintain, even on busy or low-energy days.

We work alongside you to help you get started, keep going, and create a home that feels calmer, more supportive, and far less overwhelming – a space that works with your brain, not against it.

Being untidy is something I have struggled with my whole life. I was really nervous and felt ashamed when Becky first came to help. She has been brilliant. No judgement, just kindness and a willingness to help. Becky is very understanding l, but also hard working and comes with practical suggestions. For the first time in years I feel hopeful that I can live in a happy tidy home. I am so grateful

As someone with innatentive Adhd, keeping my room tidy, my clothes organised, drawers and my space under control has always felt like an impossible, overwhelming mountain. I’d start sorting, get distracted, and end up with bigger piles and more stress than before. That all changed when I made an enquiry with A Tidy Mind. Vicki from a tidy mind called me and put me at ease and was understanding of my situation. The following week I had my appointment and it went so well! Now my room isn’t just tidy, it feels calm, spacious, and like a place I actually want to be. Vicki was patient, kind, never judgmental, and turned something I dreaded into something that actually felt good, happy and at peace once everything sorted. If you have ADHD and have ever felt hopeless about getting organised, I highly recommend a tidy mind 😊

Last year, I got in touch with A Tidy Mind Yorkshire because working full time with two little ones and a busy life meant that certain areas of our house were being neglected and we were slowly gathering ‘stuff’ that we just didn’t need - and getting rid of it felt too difficult (emotionally and logistically). Caroline has been working with us since July and we’ve decluttered so much, we’ve still got some way to go but she has been just wonderful. I already feel free of the burden caused by the ‘stuff’, I’ve not missed a single thing that’s left our house and I’m so excited to finally get through all the areas in our house that have hidden (and some not so hidden) clutter. I cannot recommend her enough. I kept telling myself “I’ll get round to it when……” but “when” never happened and it was being ignored and I was stating to feel overwhelmed by it. Not any more. Caroline is just amazing. She made us feel so comfortable and reminds us regularly about the good things we have in our house - the space, the light, the love and the ‘home’ we provide for our family. I carried so much shame about the clutter that had built up and she’s taken that away mentally and together we’ve physically taken it away by donating, recycling and chucking the items that no longer serve a purpose, were not required, not loved and quite frankly were stealing our energy. I wish I’d made contact with Caroline when I first googled ‘home organisers’ and ‘decluttering’ in ‘Yorkshire’ way back in 2024 🙈 but I was still telling myself that I could do it, and yet I never did because something was stopping me and I couldn’t put my finger on what. It was confidence. I didn’t have confidence to let go. Caroline helped me see things for what they were - unrequired clutter. We got straight to work and after the first session I was so energised and looking forward to the next session. Now when Caroline arrives for a session, I’ve usually got a few bags of clutter ready for her to take away before we even start because I can now manage little bits with just my husband. 10 items a day soon adds up. My advice would be - Don’t sit with your clutter. Get help to deal with it. You deserve to be free of the hold it has on you.

I was getting overwhelmed by the amount of clutter that seemed to be taking over my house especially in one particular room. I contacted A Tidy Mind and was soon welcoming Becky into my home. We tackled one room that had become a dumping ground instead of a place to go and relax and create. As we sorted Becky and I talked, I found it helpful as it made me realise why I was hanging on to certain things, her methods helped me decide what stays and what I can let go of, so many bags of ‘stuff’ have gone to the charity shop or tip but never did Becky ‘make’ me get rid of anything, it was a slow process for two reasons, first I needed to really think about certain things and the other reason was I just has so much! I am well on my way to a happier place and want to thank Becky and A Tidy Mind for their help and support. I thoroughly recommend.

I have adhd and have always struggled with keeping my space tidy and was struggling with buying clothes. I had Becky and there was no judgment on my situation, she was amazing and helped me sort through the clothes and decide what I was keeping and what I wanted to get rid of, and then took what I didn’t want in her car. I’m forever grateful for the help and support that I was given, if you feel like you just don’t know where to start and need some help then go with this company

I recently had Sonia from Tidy Mind to help me get started with decluttering as I was struggling to get motivated and starting it felt really overwhelming. 2 sessions in and Sonia has gave me so much encouragement and support, that I now feel able to continue on my own. Sonia was patient, understanding, caring and went at my pace. She didn’t make me get rid of anything I didn’t want to. She helped me to put systems in place, so that I knew where everything was and tidying up is so much easier now everything has a place. We now have a small memory box each, which is accessible to look through, without crawling into dusty boxes in the loft. Thank you so much Sonia and Tidy Mind, I couldn’t have done it without you. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone.

I attended a 6 week ADHD decluttering workshop. I found it very helpful and informative, Becky delivered the content with care and compassion. The tips and lifestyle hacks were very easy to implement. I would highly recommend attending. Thank you Becky

WHAT MAKES A TIDY MIND YORKSHIRE DIFFERENT

Why Choose A Tidy Mind Yorkshire

      Our Ethos
At A Tidy Mind Yorkshire, we approach every client with compassion, empathy, and complete non-judgement. We understand that clutter and disorganisation are about more than just “stuff” — they’re often emotional, personal, and deeply connected to life’s circumstances. Our goal is to create calm, clarity, and confidence — one step, one space, one person at a time.
      No Judgment Policy
Everyone is welcome at A Tidy Mind Yorkshire. We want our clients to feel safe and un-judged during sessions, regardless of backgrounds. We embrace a culture of inclusion. We are curious about different perspectives, thoughts and ideas. Our clients can be themselves without judgement, assumptions or criticism. We welcome those of any ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, physical ability or age. We also warmly welcome clients of varying neurotypes (eg. ADHD, Autism, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyspraxia), to name a few. We believe everyone deserves a tidy home, and a tidy mind.
      What makes us unique
We avoid a ‘one size fits all approach’, recognising that every ADHD brain is different and tuning in to what each client needs to create lasting, realistic change. We gently connect the practical side of decluttering and organising with reduced overwhelm, greater clarity, more energy, improved focus, and sustainable motivation. We support charities by rehoming unwanted items, assist with recycling, and are committed to reducing waste and keeping items from landfill. We coach clients to build simple systems, supportive habits, and routines that work in real life. We promote confidence, self-understanding, and a lasting shift away from guilt and towards feeling more in control.
